Muckdogs vs. Storm

Today’s game found two Milford teams with like records of 5-1. The Muckdogs & the Storm faced off with the winner to retain sole procession of second place. Mother Nature once again played a hand in this game…dropping 2” of rain on Friday evening pushed the game back to a 4:00 start. The field looked to be in great playing condition come game time.

The rain that blew through Friday evening was it…No “Storm” today! The Muckdogs defense really showed up to play this afternoon…Out of 15 possible outs, 10 were made from other than the pitcher’s position. That was some awesome glove work! Combined with 11 hits this afternoon, the Storm didn’t have a chance.  

The Muckdogs are really starting to put it all together just in time. They look to be a lock for Division 1 for the second half. It only gets tougher from here on out. If they keep playing as they have the past two games, they are unstoppable.

Our Muckdogs have a busy week ahead of them…The Coyotes on Monday, the Thunder on Tuesday & the Yankees on Thursday. Keep up the great work Dogs!
