Muckdogs vs. Buckeyes

2010-06-28

Muckdogs win fourth straight 15 - 0!

Finley Ray’s field crew really worked hard today to allow the Muckdogs & Buckeyes the ability to play this evening. With all the rain that fell overnight, there was just a slim chance to play this evening…Slim left town!! With the Nationals Tournament getting postponed, field three opened up setting the stage for a must win in the Muckdogs quest for a City invite.

The game started off with a bang…Muck’s plated 7 in the top of the first and never looked back. Every player on the Muckdogs had at least one hit this evening. Hits were coming in bunches while the defense was super stingy!!! Tonight’s Muckdog defense did not give up a single run. Tonight’s win was by far the best team performance of the year. Hitting plentiful, fly balls were caught, grounders were thrown out, pitching was on target and runners were gunned down attempting to steal. One heck of an all around awesome game fellows!!

Final Score: Muckdogs 15 – Buckeyes 0

Next Game: Amelia (Continuation) Tuesday @ Batchlier Field 6:30 start…Mucks are winning 10 -2 starting the fifth inning. Let’s finish the 2nd half out with another win. With Williamsburg’s win tonight over Amelia, we could clinch 2nd place in our Division with a 14 – 2 record!

See you all Tuesday night…

Go Muckdogs!!
