In order to try to make it enjoyable for the young players we try to accomodate as many requests as possible regarding placement on a team with a friend or to be placed on his/her team from the previous year.  However, in order to be accomplish this we need you to register by February 15 ....while we try to accomodate requests received after this date we may not be able to do this as team may already be formed and uniforms ordered.

Milford Community Baseball Managers Requirements: 

     
1) All returning or aspiring MYBA managers or coaches need to complete the Manager’s Application Form
      2) All MYBA managers and up to two assistant coaches are required to complete the 
          Background Check Information 
      3) All MYBA managers are to renew or initiate their membership with NYSCA Login or Sign Up By Clicking Here...
          after completing the certification process please send Glen Olson an e-amil at coachglenolson@gmail.com 
          with your information.
      4) MANAGERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR COLLECTING THE FOLLOWING AT THE END OF SEASON:
          
          T-Ball, I-Ball & Minors - pants
          Nationals - pants, belts and vests

     
      5) Fundraising- Participate and assist MYBA with our fundraising campaigns
     
Manager/Coaches applications, Background Check Forms and NYSCA Certification need to be completed each season prior to being assigned a practice field or game schedule.

 

Make-Up Game Request

In the event that a game needs to be rescheduled the home team is responsible to contact the Field Scheduler.  Prior to contacting the Field Scheduler
BOTH COACHES NEED TO AGREE ON A COUPLE OF DATES TO MAKE UP THE GAME.  These dates are to be included with the request.  All requests need to be submitted a minimum of 48 hours in advance of the requested day to make up the game.  This allows time to schedule umpires and prepare the fields.  In the event that a game needs to be cancelled on the day of the game please contact the Field Scheduler, Umpire Coordinator and Field Crew.

Use the  "Make-Up Game Request"  link to submit a request to the field scheduler. Using this web link will expedite the process.   The field scheduler will contact you as soon as possible.

 Report Scores

Minors and Nationals, each coach should report game scores by logging in to the MYBA website.

***Clarification on Nationals pitching rule - A player' eligibility to pitch is determined by their age on May 1 of the current year.  Therefore if a player is 11 years old on May 1 he/she can pitch for the whole season.  Example...if they turn 12 on May 2 they are still legal.

***A reminder that team snacks should be purchased at our concession stand..
